Lee Jae Wook recently engaged in an amazing photoshoot and interview with W Korea magazine. Throughout the pictorial, he emanates a rebellious yet magnetic aura set against a monotone backdrop.
Additionally, he flaunts his distinctive allure by incorporating blush to infuse vibrant hues onto his cheeks.
When asked about how he is filming the upcoming historical drama “Hong Rang” (working title), he replied,
“We film four to five days a week. Although I’ve done ‘Alchemy of Souls’ [which is a fantasy historical drama], ‘Hong Rang’ is my first time acting in an authentic historical drama.
I’m trying hard to speak in a tone of voice as low as possible because I want [the words] to be delivered in a more powerful and clearer way.”
When asked about any deficiencies he feels in his life, Lee Jae Wook shared,
“I realized that I don’t spare money when it comes to eating. Looking back, I think this also came from a small sense of deficiency.”
He continued,
“In the past, there were a lot of foods that I didn’t try because I held back as I needed to stay in shape while working as an actor.
There are times you have to hold back even if you want to eat because you have filming the next day. So I try to eat as much as I can when I can eat because of the compensation psychology.”
Since adolescence, he has undertaken a variety of part-time roles, ranging from serving at fast-food eateries to laboring at car wash establishments.
Regarding this, the actor shared,
“Well, everyone has different ways of spending their time. It may also be because I did not live in an affluent environment. But aside from financial issues, I had fun doing various things.
However, when a type of work becomes a daily routine, I start to feel bored again. That’s why I’ve worked in many different fields. Due to such tendency, being an actor is a great fit for me because I can continue living different lives.”
