The chapter starts with Mable telling everything to Percy about the night she got disappeared. When Mable told Percy about it, at first, Percy looked as if he was surprised, but then he became calm. As if Percy was fine with how cruel and painful the truth was, and as if does not matter how much the truth hurt him, Percy held her hand in his. Percy told her he understood what had happened and the reason she disappeared after coming to see him that night.

Also on the day she summoned the servant, and on the day, she was acting particularly weak. Mable apologized to him for looking into his diary without permission.
