Things are about to get risky in Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 18 as Stabler will try to move ahead in the undercover operation with a risky move. Whereas, the previous episode gave us a look at Nova Riley trying to convince her brother Derrick not to take the money from Preston Webb for the community health clinic. Meanwhile, Webb killed two men from his gang that was trying to double-cross him.
On the other hand, Donnelly asked Stabler to keep an eye out on a member of the Brotherhood named Jessie Santos who was possibly going on his own to plan out a heist. While Stabler was having doubts about his father’s character and what kind of an officer he was back in the day. Whereas, things got a bit out of hand when Jessie’s heist plan took a turn for the worse with Donnelly’s sudden involvement.
The latest police procedural crime series in the “Law & Order” franchise has gradually made quite a name for itself since it started airing in 2021. Moreover, the ongoing second season has kept the fans intrigued with each episode and they are now waiting to watch Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 18. Although, let us take a quick recap of the previous episode first.
Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 Episode 17 Recap
Episode 17 of Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 2 came out on 7th April 2022 and was titled “Can’t Knock The Hustle”. The episode saw Stabler continuing with his operation to bust the Brotherhood by winning Donnelly’s trust each day. While on the other side, he asked Detective Jet to take a look into an old case of his father due to which he was awarded the combat cross. Later at the house, Stabler’s son Eli kept asking his grandmother Bernadette about his grandfather and what kind of a man he was and she told him he was a good man. However, when Eli left, Bernadette lost her cool for some reason and confessed some things that made Stabler doubt his father even more.
On the other side, Nova and Derrick left Webb’s house after having dinner with them and Nova told Derrick to stay away from Webb and don’t take his money for building the community health clinic at the church. Meanwhile, Stabler went to see Jessie in order to keep an eye on him for Donnelly. Furthermore, the plan was to gather evidence on him for the bureau and it all started to work when Jessie reeled Stabler in on his heist plan. Jessie was working as private security for a man who carried diamonds worth millions several times and he planned to swap the real diamonds with the fake ones with Stabler’s help.
Whereas, Sergeant Bell devised a plan with the team and Jet installed a surveillance device in Jessie’s car while Stabler kept him distracted at a coffee shop. Later on, just outside the hotel when Jessie and Stabler were about to go in to execute the plan, Donnelly arrived and said to both of them that they were betraying him by going on a heist like this without telling him. Jessie apologized to him and Donnelly joined them. Turns out Stabler had informed Donnelly about Jessie’s plan beforehand.
Although, the heist didn’t end as planned since the man who was robbed of the diamonds realized it and started to get into a brawl with Donnelly in the car and eventually got killed by Donnelly’s gun. The next day, Bell and the police arrested Jessie from the evidence at hand. However, Stabler and the team didn’t know where did Donnelly go with the diamonds. On the other hand, Nova told the truth to Derrick that she was an undercover cop and trying to bust Webb’s gang after Derrick had accepted his money for the health clinic. In the end, we saw Stabler meeting a retired police officer who worked in the department when his father received the combat cross and talked about him.
