Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan are parting ways once more. A source confirms The Real Housewives of Miami star, 49, and the son of Michael Jordan have terminated their relationship one month after reigniting their romance following a brief split.
“They’re moving in different directions,” a source tells, adding that the breakup — which was first reported — was amicable.
Their split occurred a few weeks ago after Pippen and Jordan, 33, were seen together at The Traitors reunion, another insider tells. She’s been on set this month, filming another reality show that is set to be announced soon.
“Larsa is focusing on her exciting next chapter now,” the second source says. “She’s always been someone who is ambitious and driven. She needs a match who has those similar qualities.”
Pippen also seemingly alluded to the split on Instagram Tuesday, writing,
“Humble enough to know I can lose it all. Confident enough to know I can get it all back.”
The breakup occurs a month after Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan briefly reconciled — and were spotted in Miami together — following their initial split just before Valentine’s Day.
“They have decided to take some time apart to reevaluate their relationship,” a source told of their breakup at the time. “This has nothing to do with any family input, but solely for their personal growth.”
Upon their initial split, Pippen cleared her Instagram of photos featuring Jordan. She also conducted a poll on her Story, questioning her followers, “Should your friends unfollow your ex?” along with sharing a video of Morgan Freeman discussing trusting your “inner voice.”
However, Pippen later admitted on the Two T’s in a Pod podcast that she regretted deleting photos of them from her Instagram after the breakup.
“I feel like I was very emotional … I wish I didn’t delete those photos,” she confessed. “I didn’t even archive them, I couldn’t archive them, I just deleted them. I was just emotional and impulsive I guess. I’m a Cancer so I’m an emotional person so I feel like if you’re not loving me the right way I can distance myself and catch a beat.”
The reality star also clarified that she and Jordan:
“Didn’t break up, we kind of needed to just take a beat, gather our thoughts and see if this relationship, you know what’s going to happen in the future.”
“It was like, we’ve spent a lot of time together and I feel like this was the point of, we’re going to be together and get engaged or start working to the next phase, or we’re going to break up.
It’s that phase of making the right decision for your relationship,” she continued, adding that the duo had gone through a month of “not seeing eye to eye” and “not being in a great place.”
