Lady Gaga is gearing up for a massive comeback, and she’s pulling out all the stops for her new single, Disease, set for release this Friday.
In a major power move, Gaga recruited renowned choreographer Parris Goebel, best known for orchestrating Rihanna’s 2023 Super Bowl halftime performance, to handle the choreography for her music video.

The video, shot earlier this year, is directed by Tanu Muino, a Ukrainian director famous for working on Dua Lipa’s “Illusion” music video.
Gaga is experiencing a major surge in popularity, recently hitting 107.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify, marking a new personal record.

This new single comes as she battles the charts with her duet Die With A Smile alongside Bruno Mars. Disease is co-produced by Cirkut, the producer behind huge hits like Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” and Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball”.
Lyrically, Disease is classic Gaga – dramatic, intimate, and seductive. She croons:
“Breathe me in, let me stay.
I’ll take your pain, let you fade away.
Your pulse is racing, can’t you see?
I’m the cure, you’re the need.”
She continues,
“I could play the doctor. I can cure your disease. If you were a sinner, I could make you believe. Lay you down like 1, 2, 3.”
