After the Nun failed to meet the expectations of the fans, the producers of the Conjuring are lining up another horror movie to send chills down the spine of people. This time the movie is based on a Mexican legend. The movie is going to be based on the Mexican legend of La Llorona. The movie was titled The Children but, it was changed after back in July. The new title is the Curse of La Llorona. It has been produced by James Wan and Gary Dauberman.

The movie will also be the directorial debut of Micheal Chaves. Chaves has also landed the job of directing The Conjuring 3 next year. Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis are the writers. The movie is set in the 1970s in the city of Los Angeles. Anna Garcia is a social worker, and she tries to help a mother, who has been accused of child endangerment.
Anna ignored the woman’s warning about the Weeping Woman. Slowly she begins to understand that her children are in danger of being killed by La Llorona. The cast of the movie has also been confirmed. Here is the cast for The Curse of La Llorona—
