In a recent interview, Kyle Richards responded to speculation surrounding her relationship with Morgan Wade, providing clarity on their status.
Despite circulating rumors, Richards clarified that she is not romantically involved with Wade, stating,
“No, no. I’m not dating him.”
She further explained their connection, emphasizing their friendship and shared interests, particularly in the music industry.
Richards affirmed that while they share a close bond, it does not extend to a romantic relationship, dispelling any lingering doubts about their personal lives.
In the concluding episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 reunion, Kyle Richards directly confronted speculations regarding her bond with country singer Morgan Wade.
Responding to host Andy Cohen’s inquiry about Wade’s response to being showcased on the show, Richards, aged 55, disclosed that the 29-year-old singer was taken aback by the widespread exposure of the Bravo series.
She highlighted Wade’s discomfort with the intense scrutiny brought on by the show, shedding light on the challenges faced by those unexpectedly thrust into the reality TV spotlight.
Following Crystal Kung Minkoff and Dorit Kemsley’s admission of their belief in Kyle Richards’ alleged relationship with Morgan Wade, Crystal, aged 41, directly confronted Richards about their collaboration on the steamy music video for Wade’s track, “Fall In Love With Me.”
The video depicts Richards and Wade engaging in intimate acts such as feeding each other fruit and sharing a bubble bath, nearly kissing.
Richards clarified that she was unaware of the creative direction until arriving on set and emphasized that filming occurred before news of her separation from Mauricio Umansky emerged in July.
“I said to the director, ‘I’ve never like actually kissed anybody on camera, let alone a woman,'” she recalled. “So I was very nervous and anxious, but if I’m being very honest with myself, I was obviously curious in order to say yes.”
“I said yes for a reason, I mean, and you know, she’s hot, what can I say?” Kyle added.
During the reunion, host Andy Cohen posed the “million dollar question,” directly asking Kyle Richards if there was any truth to the rumors surrounding her and Morgan Wade.
After a momentary pause, Richards denied the speculations, putting an end to the swirling gossip about their alleged romantic involvement.
“I love her, she’s my friend and I love her,” she added, before admitting that she didn’t know if she could see herself with the country singer.
“I’m evolving, I’m changing,” Kyle explained after Andy pointed out that she didn’t say no. “I’m clearly going through some evolution of my own and I don’t know. I don’t know what my future holds right now.”
From tattooing each other’s initials to jet-setting to destinations like Paris, France, fans have avidly speculated about the depth of Kyle and Morgan’s friendship.
At the time of the video’s release, the duo took to Instagram together, sharing a joint video detailing their intentions to playfully address the swirling rumors.
“I’ve done several music videos and every time there’s someone in it they always assume we’re dating or something’s going on,” Morgan said. “If you go on the Internet, you’ll see people are obsessed with us being friends.”
“We thought it would kind of be a good idea to kind of poke fun at that and troll the trolls a little bit,” she continued. “The Internet is going to be popping off about this one I’m sure.”
