Koukyuu no Karasu Episode 13 will wrap up the season with the final episode of the series. Liu Shouxue played the role of a mysterious woman till the very end of the series. The last episode, titled Siblings, showed the price people had to pay for their lives. Feng Xiao adored her brother but could not digest the thought of being parted from him. So she decided to bring him back to life by creating a zombie that would require clay and his hair. But what Fand Xiao created was an apparition that cost an innocent woman her life.
We saw an episode before that a woman was being chased by a man and was eventually killed by him. We learn in the last episode that the man was none other than the clay doll created by Fang Xiao.
It was a creation that needed blood to stay sober, but each attempt made it more hungry. But as the matters of Fang Xiao and her brother is resolved, we come across the mystery of the Owl and the Raven. Along with the reason why Shouxue can commune with the spirits. Liu Shouxue is the youngest and the last of the Raven Consort and, thus, the most important in the field. However, despite being one of the most important people in the country, she follows her tune and does not deal with the mundane world.
But that is just a front, she is the last of her clan, and she must perform a ritual for the deceased. At night when she is supposed to be meeting with the king, she instead summons spirits and helps them lead to paradise for a blissful existence. The story follows Liu Shouxue and the kingdom she lives in, with the politics intertwined. The current emperor came to the throne after killing the woman who had ruined his life when he was but a child. He had come to power and decided to set matters straight.
He takes the help of the present and last Raven Consort to deal with matters that could not be dealt with otherwise. The two are accommodated by other people in the palace, and they will deal with the supernatural as well as the human domain that deals with all that goes around in the palace and their surroundings.

Koukyuu no Karasu Episode 13 will conclude one of the longest conflicts of the series depicted in Ancient China. Shouxue has become the object of the Owl due to her lineage. Shouxue is not a direct candidate in this and was only in this because her circumstances led her to.
However, the revelation of her being a vessel will have a huge impact going forward. As of now, Shouxue is not only a descendant of the crow but a vessel to the raven that helps guide the spirit. It was also revealed that the original being from which the raven came had the characteristics of an Owl and Raven before splitting into the two.
