Things will be heating in Kono Suba Season 3 Episode 11 to make up for all the downpours that happened in the last episode. It was quite a heavy episode for all the people involved in the matter, and Kazuma was more inactive than usual. Things begin when Alderp quickly announces his wedding date with Darkness, with the Isekai Green Tunic refusing to do anything.
Despite pleas from both Megumin and Aqua, Kazuma refuses to intervene unless Darkness asks for his help directly, leaving him to clean up the messes from Megumin’s and Aqua’s plots to stop the wedding. Later, Megumin confronts Kazuma about his inaction, and he admits his uncertainty about defying a powerful noble like Alderp.
Vanir then reveals to Kazuma that the Dustiness family fell into debt with Alderp after taking a loan to repair the damage caused by the Destroyer and Kazuma’s party’s efforts to stop it. The loan stipulates that if the debt cannot be paid, Darkness must trade her body as collateral.
Enraged, Kazuma strikes a deal with Vanir to save Darkness. At the wedding, Darkness fondly recalls her time with Kazuma and the party but resigns herself to her fate and is certain Kazuma won’t save her. However, as the wedding begins, Kazuma and Aqua crash the event disguised as clergy, and Kazuma boldly declares he will “kidnap” Darkness to protect her from Alderp.
