Indian filmmaker Karan Johar is the host of the chat show Koffee With Karan. Interviews with well-known people and Bollywood stars are featured on the show. The first episode had Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh as guests. When Ranveer Singh disclosed that Kareena Kapoor Khan was first selected for Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, but she had to leave the film for an unspecified reason, Karan asked them about how they met.
He said he had seen Cocktail a few days earlier and thought Deepika was a better fit. Following their discussion over the movie’s filming, Ranveer, Deepika, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali headed to lunch. The actress had a piece of crab lodged in her teeth, which the actor discovered.
“I thought, let me catch her and put her on the spot,” stated Ranveer. Padukone retorted, “Really?” after he told her about the crab. Please remove it. When Ranveer used his little finger, he described feeling a “jolt like a 440-volt shock that day.”
That’s when their relationship took off. They have also talked about their Saturday night date, during which they dance, listen to music, and stay up till four in the morning. It demonstrated how much they genuinely enjoyed each other’s company and how bonded they were.
