Warriors’ star Klay Thompson didn’t have the smoothest start to his season this year, but he made a strong comeback midseason, proving his resilience. Taking on an off-the-bench role, he excelled, showcasing his adaptability and skill.
Known for his past struggles with injuries, this season was different for Thompson. Recently, he expressed pride in his injury-free run throughout the season.
Following the Warriors’ match against the Utah Jazz, Klay Thompson discussed his relatively healthy season in a post-game conference.
When asked by a reporter how often he plays without feeling pain, Thompson replied, “Most of the time. It’s 82 games, I am not gonna be a hundred percent every night… What did I miss, maybe 3 or 4 games this year… that’s something I can hang my hat on and be proud of, just being durable throughout the season.”

Facing the Utah Jazz on Sunday night without their ace Stephen Curry, the Warriors had a tough challenge ahead. However, the other half of the NBA’s Splash Brothers, Klay Thompson, took charge. He ensured that a Curry-less Warriors team did not falter against the Jazz.
Scoring an impressive 32 points, Thompson led his team to victory with a final score of 118-110 against an undermanned Utah Jazz squad.
Thompson’s stellar performance stole the spotlight, dominating the opposition with shots from the field and downtown. Head coach Steve Kerr showered praise on Thompson, crediting him for the win. “He was amazing. Klay’s shot-making helped us get that lead,” remarked Kerr.
