Warhorse Studios has announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has officially sold more than six million copies worldwide, marking another major achievement for the medieval role-playing game. The milestone comes as the title joins the ongoing Steam Summer Sale, where players can purchase it at a 60% discount.

Released in February 2025 by Warhorse Studios and publisher Deep Silver, the sequel has continued to attract new players thanks to its immersive historical setting, story-driven gameplay, and consistent post-launch support. The latest sales figures highlight the game’s strong momentum more than a year after launch.

Warhorse Studios thanks fans for the milestone

The developer shared the news in a post on Steam, expressing its appreciation to the growing community.

“Six million of you have now stepped foot in Bohemia! Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has officially reached another milestone, six million copies sold.”

The studio continued:

“More of you are joining our community every day and we couldn’t be more excited to have you. Thank you for making this an unforgettable adventure for us!”

The announcement reflects the continued popularity of the sequel, which remains one of the most successful RPG releases in recent years.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has maintained a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, with more than 137,000 user reviews, around 93% of which are positive. The game has been praised for expanding the original’s realistic medieval gameplay while delivering a larger world and deeper storytelling.

Warhorse Studios has also indicated that fans may not have to wait nearly as long for the next installment. During a recent community livestream, communications director Tobias Stolz-Zwilling said the studio is targeting the next fiscal year for its next Kingdom Come project if development stays on schedule.

He told fans,

“If everything goes right, it comes next fiscal year, which means you don’t have to wait seven years for another Kingdom Come. That is good!”

While the developer has yet to officially reveal the next game, the latest sales milestone demonstrates that the franchise continues to build momentum, giving Warhorse Studios a strong foundation for its future plans.
