Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is officially coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027, giving Nintendo players the chance to experience Henry of Skalitz’s latest medieval adventure on the hybrid console. The announcement was made during Nintendo’s September 2026 Direct.

The Switch 2 release will include the game’s Royal Edition content, meaning players will receive the base game alongside its premium story expansions, exclusive equipment and an additional bonus questline.

Henry’s Medieval Adventure Comes to Switch 2

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 takes players to 15th-century Bohemia, continuing Henry’s journey through a historically inspired open-world setting filled with towns, castles, wilderness and dangerous roads. The first-person RPG places considerable emphasis on player choice, with conversations, combat, exploration and other decisions influencing how quests unfold.

Players can approach situations in different ways, including fighting enemies directly, sneaking through hostile areas or attempting to negotiate their way out of trouble. The game’s role-playing systems are designed around consequences, meaning choices can have lasting effects on Henry’s journey.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version is particularly notable because it brings the complete package to a portable platform. Alongside the base game, the Royal Edition includes all premium story expansions, exclusive gear and a bonus questline.

Nintendo also highlighted the broader Kingdom Come experience available on its hardware. The original Kingdom Come: Deliverance is already available on Nintendo Switch and can be played on Switch 2 through backward compatibility, allowing players to follow Henry’s story across both games.

Warhorse Studios has not yet provided a specific launch date for the Switch 2 version. The game is currently scheduled to arrive sometime in 2027.
