That is the reason why fans of the series are really excited about the release date of the upcoming Kingdom Chapter 777.
The location of the Zhou headquarters remains a mystery, leaving open the possibility that Shin may seize the initiative and storm the fortress at Hango.
On the edges of the fray stands Shin’s elite Gyoku Hou unit, poised to intervene at a critical moment and tip the scales.
Their role will require split-second decisions and level-headed composure amidst the chaos. The course of history hangs in the balance as the two armies collide on the field of battle. Victory will depend on the grit and tactical brilliance of Shin and his men.
Recap and Review
Gakushou and Fuuon see through Akou’s ploy – his true target is none other than Riboku himself. Despite this realization, Akou continues his relentless assault, directing his vast army to surround and ensnare the Zhou commander.
Riboku has no choice but to call upon Futei’s unit for reinforcements. But Akou’s forces vastly outnumber them and pay no heed to Futei’s appearance on the battlefield.
Futei urges Riboku to beat a tactical retreat, but Riboku defiantly refuses to withdraw before taking Akou’s head. He orders Futei to join him in an intense duel with Akou. Futei’s unit is taking a brutal beating yet valiantly holds the line.
From afar, Sou’ou and Shiryou recognize Riboku as Akou’s true adversary, recalling his past victory over Makou. Denrimi and Ousen look on worriedly as Akou continues his daring gambit.
Confusion takes hold as Fuuon realizes Akou has lost consciousness, yet still battles fiercely when Futei attacks. The tide of war hangs in the balance as Akou and Riboku lock horns, each determined to prevail on this bloody day of reckoning.
The scene flashes back to a pivotal encounter between Ousen and Akou. After besting Akou in combat, Ousen binds him and reveals his grand ambition – to forge his own independent kingdom. Akou scoffs that he must be insane, but Ousen argues that it is the existing kingdoms that are truly mad.
He points out the absurdity that Akou’s homeland was conquered by Qin, yet now he is forced to fight for them, swearing fealty to his kingdom’s destroyer just to survive. Ousen suggests Akou instead pledge loyalty to him directly. Akou rebukes this, questioning how strong a loyalty born of threats could be.
Ousen acknowledges the wisdom in this and apologizes for his clumsy methods. He vows never to raise a hand against his own subordinates should Akou join him. Ousen entreats Akou to cast his lot with him, saying, “It will be a long road ahead.”
This pivotal encounter illuminates Ousen’s grand ambition and his dynamic with Akou. Though their methods differ, a deep mutual respect takes root. With Akou’s strength at his side, Ousen aims to upend the world order and build a new kingdom from the ground up. A great destiny awaits those bold enough to seize it.
With a mighty blow, Akou sends Futei flying. He declares, “I am Ousen’s first general, his right-hand man! I support the greatest warrior in China – I will not fall easily!”
Akou rallies his troops to ignore Futei and slay Riboku as Futei’s unit nears exhaustion. Gakushou vows to kill Akou himself, begging Riboku to retreat while he still can. Riboku finally calls for withdrawal, entrusting the fate of Akou and the central battle to Gakushou.
Akou proclaims victory, ordering his men to prevent Riboku’s escape at all costs. Ousen and his adjutant realize Riboku is in full retreat. Akou urgently commands his troops to notify the Hi Shin unit of Riboku’s withdrawal.
Upon receiving the message, Ten orders Shin to be alerted immediately. She prepares to divide their forces to capitalize on this turning point.
The tides have shifted dramatically – Akou’s gambit has paid off, forcing Riboku’s retreat. However, the Zhou commander’s fate remains uncertain as the Hi Shin unit races to join Akou’s pursuit and secure total victory. The kingdom hangs in the balance.
