King The Land Episode 2 Recap (Spoilers!)
In King The Land Episode 2, Sa Rang is forced to apologize for using the bathroom without permission as she tries escaping from Gu Won’s room once he catches her red-handed. However, Gu Won was petty and asked for a second apology for being called a pervert all those years, but in vain as Sa Rang refused to do so. They finally decide on outright avoiding one another if they ever cross paths.
Later, when Gu Won was stressed out about the inauguration ceremony feeling nervous, Sa Rang comes up to him and hands him a bouquet, which calms him down from the public. At the same event, she finds herself presenting a speech for Gu Won being appointed the new Head Manager. The speech doesn’t impress him as much since he hated Sa Rang’s fake smile.
Following another unpleasant exchange between the two, Sa Rang ultimately realizes that the man she had been calling a pervert because of his T-shirt was actually innocent. She apologizes for her mistake and is further told by Gu Won to never show a fake smile in front of him again, as it annoyed him to the core.
Sa Rang then is forced to deal with Mo Seong Ae, who came to the hotel asking for a free upgrade on her suite in exchange for publicity on social media. Da Eul on other hand was ready to start her life as a duty-free shop manager and running the place on individuality and not some outdated work rules. On top of her miserable personal life, Sa Rang had to deal with more problems in her work life too.
Gu Won saw the trouble Seong Ae was causing and swiftly steps in before the actress could cause more drama. He called the guards and told them to kick her out. He later told Sa Rang to come to his office and asked why she let herself be treated that way. Sar Rang was confused by his question and told him how irrespective of the customer’s personality, she had to treat them nicely with respect.
He then proceeds to tell Sa Rang of her future task of interviewing Gu Won as part of a CNBS live broadcast, which was to be shot for the sake of PR. From that incident, he proceeds to start liking Sa Rang a bit more and reverts his words of her not being his type. The episode ends with the two of them gazing one another, as Gu Won finds himself captivated by Sa Rang’s appearance.
