King the Land Episode 13 will be released this week. The Kdrama is now getting even more exciting while getting close to the finale. The romance and chemistry of Lee Jun Ho and Im Yoon Ah are making it possible for King The Land to keep a strong grip on the number one position of the most-watched non-English series.
Although, it won’t be justified if we take away the credit from the intriguing story and twists that want us to keep craving for more. Sadly, it won’t run for long as it is a mini-series with only 16 episodes.
On the brighter side, it is great that they have kept it short and interesting rather than boring and exhausting for the viewers. Speaking of the episodes, 12 have already aired, and 13 are on the cards. Let’s quickly have a look that all we need to know about King the Land Episode 13.
King the Land Plot
The story is about a person who hates fake smiles and another one with a smile like no other. Gu Won is the handsome heir of The King Group which owns a luxurious hotel. He has two things constant in life: the inheritance war and missing his mother, who disappeared one day.
When everyone smiled at his state, he started hating fake smiles. On the other hand, is beautiful Cheon Sa Rang. She joins the King Group as an employee and has wonderful childhood memories at that place. Her magnificent smile is something Gu Won cannot resist.
King The Land Episode 12 Recap
The episode begins with Sang Sik and the rest of the squad trying to enjoy their best. He tries contacting Gu Won, but he does not pick up. While the girl suspects something is blooming between Sa Rang and Gu Won, Sang Sik says things are already over between them.
When they return, they find out Gu Won And Sa rang making out. The girls scream, witnessing the intimate moment. Sa Rang and Gu Won apologize for hiding the truth. Ro Woon congratulates them and thinks they make a good couple.
Soon, Gu Won reveals that he is the son of Chairman and Da-eul, and Pyeong-Hwa feels embarrassed. Gu Won and Sa Rang try to make them feel comfortable. He insists Ra Woon and Pyeong Hwa be his friends like they were earlier.
Now, they are back at work, and the 100th-anniversary celebration is hit, and Won is the talk of the town. In the meeting, Chairman Gu seemed happy about everything, but Hwa Ran disagreed. Won has a different viewpoint than Hwa Ran, which excites Chairman Gu.
Things don’t go right for Pyeong Hwa either, as Soo Hyun is promoted because of her sales. When she confronts her, Soo Hyu says that she will never be promoted due to her divorce.
Her ex falsely made her sign marriage papers, and she had divorce as the only option left at that time. Sa Rang also has a hard time dealing with Park till Won comes to her rescue. Daeul has an equally bad day full of work that leaves her exhausted.
In the hotel, she meets Ok ja, who has a picture of Won’s mother. Sa Rang meets Won the next day. She is missing her mother and does not want Won to regret anything, so she hands him his mother’s picture.
At the end of the episode, Sa Rang is chosen for Chairman Gu’s catering service. However, her happiness is short-lived as she has clothes like a maid in a uniform and has to serve Won. A huge bomb drops when Yu Ri’s parents announce getting her married to Gu Won, and Sa Rang drops the plate upon hearing the news.
