Killing Eve season 2

The thrilling crime drama known as Killing Eve stars the likes of Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer as an M15 officer and an assassin respectively. Killing Eve Season 2 has been officially confirmed by BBC. This confirmation actually happened even before Killing Eve Season 1 aired. The second Season of Killing Eve has already been in works, shooting for the same started back in the middle of July 2018. Much progress has been made on the production front with Season 2.

Killing Eve Season 2: Cast

Besides the star cast of Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh, killing even Season 2 is to include new faces. This announcement was made back in August of this year. The fresh faces that we are going to see are:

Nina Sosanya of the fame W1A, Marcella and Last Tango in Halifax. She’s lead all these shows, and; Edward Bluemel from the movie A Discovery of Witches and The Commuter.

It has also been reported that Killing Eve will have a guest star in Season 2. Julian Barratt who’s been Sosanya’s co-star in Nathan Barley will make his appearance here too. BBC has given no further information about the roles that new cast additions will play. The regular cast of the show includes:

Eve Polastri played by Sandra Oh
Villanelle played by Jodie Comer, and;
Carolyn Martens played by Fiona Shaw.

The show will, of course, be run by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Emerald Fennell will serve as lead writer and executive producer. Waller-Bridge too will retain the position of executive producer.

Killing Eve Season 2: Plot

No plot details have emerged as of now. But the show is to pick up right where Season 1 left off. In the last episode titled as God Eve confronted Villanelle and discussed each other’s history. She then stabs Villanelle who ran away while firing shots at Eve.

Killing Eve Season 2: Release Date

We do not have a release date of the show as of now. But Killing Eve will return sometime in 2019. Stay tuned for further updates. More as I have it.
