Hakan told Garrett that she had been envious of Lucia for a long time and even tried to frame her for using black magic. Even though she was the culprit behind the use of black magic, Garrett told Hakan she did not know anything about black magic.
Garrett explained that she just wanted to stop the sin of her sister and was willing to accept her punishment for that. But Hakan knew that she was lying, so he called Gilliath to speak up on the matter. Gilliath confirmed that he had been using black magic for a long time at the behest of her sister.

Hakan gives orders to his guards to strip Garrett’s title as the former queen of consort as a criminal and sentence her to death. Gilliath told Hakan it was his fault that his sister used black magic.
He then explained that Garrett had dedicated herself to Tayar as the former queen consort and requested that he consider that point. Everyone agreed that the death penalty was too much for Garrett’s wrong actions, so they requested that Hakan reconsider his decision.
Hakan told the guards that they should strip Garrett of her title. As well as imprison her in the southern palace with a mark on her body so that Garrett will never forget her crime for the rest of her life.
Gilliath was also executed by Garrett for being involved in the crime with his sister. But because he confessed all his sins, he got his body marked and sentenced to hard labor.
Garrett was mad at Gilliath for confessing everything to Hakan, but Gilliath told her he had repaid all his debts to her for raising him. So he never wanted to listen to her orders again. Gilliath was feeling better that he would be free from his sister and stay in Moshina’s house.
It did not matter to him if he could just live; a few days later, Lucina found out that Gilliath had been using black magic. She was glad that Gilliath’s crime had been revealed, but for some reason, she was feeling uneasy about the entire situation.
Hakan told Lucina he was not happy about giving her unfortunate news, so he wanted to give her good news. He informed Lucina that Lusiana had decided to bestow on her the position of temporary queen.
Lucina could not believe that, but Hakan told her everyone had decided that during the morning meeting. It was only natural since Lucina was pregnant with the descendant of the guardian dragon; however, she could only move to the queen’s palace after the wedding ceremony.
