Lucina was taken by Hakan as his bride, a handsome Himbo king with a kingdom in the Middle East. He is something close to an Egyptian prince, the kind that would make the romance series explode by just existing. And thus begins the backstabbing journey of Hakan’s sister-in-law, who wants him for herself and would go to any lengths for that. Hakan, being oblivious to this (even the snow white in the desert), became a part of the scheme he didn’t expect. Lucian can’t do anything for herself for the life of her, and she is in a foreign land to boot. What first seemed like a blessing of her being away from her kingdom has now become a curse. She has no allies and is alone in the Middle Eastern world and an enemy with every advantage.
When Lucina left her room, one of her evil sister-in-law’s minions snuck into a dark magic object in her room. And then (same or another minion) confronted Lucina by dragging her to the ‘accepted Queen’ of the palace who is running the show. Lucian is shown a dark candle that was used on Hakan and caused him many states of worry.

Kidnapped Bride Chapter 48 will have some magic to save Lucina from her upcoming predicament and the one needing Hakan. Hakan will be busy finding out the murderer of his brother and making sure he reaches Lucina quickly. Where his worry stems from remains to be seen, but his intuition is on point about worrying about Lucina.
As stated earlier, Lucina is in a foreign land with no friends or allies on her side to deal with its politics. She had been taking losses ever since Hakan’s sister-in-law thought of her as a threat to her. But that is mainly because Hakan has the right to marry his sister-in-law as per tradition, and Hakan’s relative doesn’t want competition.
If anything, many would find the content of the manhwa to be bait reading, throwing in stuff to aggravate the reader. And it is very effective, as readers have rallied together in their collective hate for the antagonist. Though, now the story has a
