This is one of the scariest/craziest Jujustu Kaisen theories that you would ever hear of. Even I was shocked when I heard of this theory since if this happens, the whole world of Jujutsu will turn upside down.
Seriously, just think what will happen if Kenjaku takes over Gojo’s body. Just imagining it gives me goosebumps since if that happens, it will make Kenjaku “THE” strongest. That would also make sense because he is rumored to be the final boss and not Sukuna.
Right now, Sukuna is “the” strongest, but he doesn’t have a concrete goal other than just enjoying fighting, so it would make sense if Kenjaku somehow takes over Gojo’s body. So, in this article, we will be covering every possible way for that to happen.
How Kenjaku will take over Gojo’s Body
We saw that in Jujutsu Kiasen chapter 236, Gojo was dead after his fight with Sukuna. In chapter 243, Yuta cuts off Geto’s head (possessed by Kenjaku) after his fight with Tabaka. Some think that Kenjaku is dead now that Yuta has cut off his head, but they are wrong, as they are missing the small details here.
Kenjaku is actually a curse who has been living for thousands of years by controlling people’s bodies. His true form is actually a brain, and he replaces the user’s brains with him if he wants to control them.
If you remember, Kenjaku has also possessed Yuji’s mother, as shown in chapter 143, where Yuta kills Yuji and revives him again using the cursed technique. So that means Yuji is actually the son of Kenjaku since he was controlling Kaori Itadori while giving birth to Yuji.
Why I’m explaining all this? It just shows that even though Yuta has cut off Kenjaku’s head, he isn’t dead as his body remains in the head, and I don’t think It will affect him in any way after getting his head cut off. So Kenjaku is NOT dead. Not until Yuta crushes his head/brain in the upcoming chapter.
Kenjaku’s Best Opportunity
As I said, until Kenjaku’s brain is crushed, he won’t be dead, And since Kenjaku is a cursed spirit, using the reserve cursed technique will be a piece of cake for him. So he will be able to heal himself/Geto’s body after being beheaded.
However, he won’t do that, or he will do that just to escape from Yuta and Tabaka. I think Yuta doesn’t know that Kenjaku resides as Brain in Geto’s body, that’s why he is confident that he killed him. So, Kenjaku will quickly regenerate after this.
Kenjaku doesn’t get any chance to occupy Gojo’s body as quickly engages in battle with Hazenoki right after Gojo’s death, and after defeating Hazenoki, he fights with Takaba, so he doesn’t get any chance to occupy Gojo’s body. However, if Kenjaku gets away from Yuta, he might get a chance to gain control over Gojo’s body.
Chances of Kenjaku to Take Over Gojo’s Body
Well, there are many obstacles Kenjaku needs to face before taking over Gojo’s body. The very first is dealing with Yuta. We know that Yuta is a powerful sorcerer even though he is been called a fraud. He has defeated Geto in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and also fought Kurourushi Takako Uro, and Ryu Ishigori in the Culling game.
So probably strong enough to go toe-toe against Kenjaku. And speaking of Gojo’s body, they wouldn’t have just left it lying around like that. Maybe Mei Mei must have used her crow to retrieve Gojo’s body from there to Shoko. Shoko would just sit there after seeing Gojo dead. She must have asked to retrieve his body.
What if Kenjaku gets Successful in Capturing Gojo’s Body?
Even after so many circumstances, Kenjaku still somehow manages to take over Gojo’s body, I don’t think he will be able to gain full control over it since it is Gojo we are talking about.
We have seen a scene where Geto resists when Gojo addresses that he lets someone control his body. So, there is no way that Gojo will not resist. And I think Kenjaku also knows this, which is why he isn’t hasty about doing it since he would have waited for his death to take control over it right away.
BUT! If worst comes to worst, and Kenjaku takes over Gojo’s body, and Gojo doesn’t resist, then it probably is the worst outcome for Jujutsu sorcerers since they will have to face not one but two strongest sorcerers.
It’s already bad facing one of the strongest, so two will be too much for them, and I don’t think Gege will do that, or will he? We can’t say since anything can happen. However, this will also be clear in the next 10-25 chapters.
