Two years have passed since the intense battles of the Kengan Annihilation Tournament. Now, a young man named Narushima Koga is determined to join the Kengan matches, the high-stakes underground fights where powerful fighters from all walks of life battle to the death. Koga has trained hard and is ready to make his mark in this dangerous world, but he has another goal in mind, too.
He’s searching for Tokita Ohma, a fighter whose name is legendary among martial artists. Although Ohma has been missing for a while, Koga is driven to find him for reasons he keeps to himself.
To get closer to his goals, Koga starts working under Yamashita Kazuo, a well-known figure in the Kengan Association. While working for Yamashita, he encounters a mysterious young fighter named Gaoh Ryuki. To Koga’s surprise, Ryuki looks just like Tokita Ohma, and his fighting skills are equally impressive.
Ryuki and Koga form an uneasy friendship, bound by their shared connection to Ohma and their desire to grow stronger. Ryuki, however, has his reasons for fighting, and as they get to know each other, Koga realizes that Ryuki’s journey may be just as complicated as his own.
At the same time, a new conflict is brewing. The Kengan Association, known for organizing the deadly Kengan matches, is about to face off against Purgatory, a rival underground fighting organization with ruthless warriors.
