Season 6 of The Kardashians is here, and it is clear that the show is sticking to the same style as before. The famous sisters—Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner—are once again sharing their lives with viewers. However, instead of showing personal moments, the new series focuses more on their business projects.
In Keeping Up With the Kardashians, fans used to see the family interacting in everyday life, giving the show a personal and natural feeling. Now, the series feels more like an extension of their business empire.
The family carefully selects scenes that show them attending events, promoting brands, and managing their companies. While these moments highlight their success, they also make the show feel more controlled.
Since the Kardashian-Jenner sisters are already very active on social media, they constantly update their fans about their business events. By the time these moments appear on the show, they no longer feel new or exciting.
Viewers have already seen the behind-the-scenes details online, making some episodes feel repetitive. This issue is most obvious in scenes that focus entirely on promotions. These moments often seem more like commercials than entertainment.
The third episode of the season has just aired, but many viewers already feel that the show is struggling to keep things interesting. The sisters are not sharing many personal or unexpected moments, and the episodes rely too much on staged events. Because of this, the show may be losing some of its original charm.

North West is the Most Entertaining Part of Season 6
While the older family members are finding it difficult to create engaging content, Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West, is bringing fresh energy to the show. North has a bold personality and a natural ability to entertain. Her scenes feel more genuine and fun compared to the carefully planned business-focused moments from the rest of the family.
However, it is unclear how much freedom North will have to continue appearing on the show. Kim is a busy businesswoman, and every time North has a work-related event, Kim has to take time off from her packed schedule. Earlier in the season, Kim mentioned that she prefers to focus on her own work and wants to stay busy for at least another ten years before slowing down.
The third episode of the season featured one of the best moments so far, thanks to North. On Mother’s Day, North surprised Kim by taking her to a rage room, where people can break objects to relieve stress.
Kim is usually very controlled in how she presents herself, so this was a rare moment where she stepped out of her comfort zone. It also showed the unique bond between Kim and North.
Years ago, Kim often looked up to her younger sister Kylie Jenner, especially during Kylie’s “King Kylie” era, when she was at her peak popularity. Now, Kim looks to North for advice on what is trendy and cool. North has a strong sense of confidence and understands what is currently popular in pop culture.
Another standout moment from the episode was North’s preparation for her performance as Simba in The Lion King tribute at the Hollywood Bowl. This was a rare occasion where multiple family members gathered outside their usual luxurious surroundings.
Even though fans already knew about North’s performance because of media coverage and social media, the episode was still entertaining. North’s natural energy and excitement made these scenes enjoyable to watch.
The Other Sisters’ Scenes Feel Less Interesting
Compared to North’s lively moments, the other sisters’ scenes feel less engaging. Many of them seem planned or staged rather than spontaneous and real.
Khloé Kardashian has often been the sister who shares the most personal moments. In past seasons, she openly discussed her struggles, including her marriage to Lamar Odom and the cheating scandals involving Tristan Thompson. However, in Season 6, it seems that Khloé is being more careful about what she shares. She is following her sisters’ lead by controlling which moments appear on the show.
For example, one of Khloé’s main scenes in this episode involves helping Scott Disick find a personal assistant. This could have been a fun and genuine moment between two close friends, but instead, it feels rushed and overly planned. The scene lacks the natural humor and energy that made their past interactions enjoyable.
Another scene features Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner visiting Kourtney Kardashian’s empty house. The house is waiting to be renovated, and Kourtney asks her younger sisters if they want to see her “room with nothing in it.” This moment does not add much to the episode and does not feel necessary.
Kourtney also talks about how she and her family have adjusted to moving out of this home and into the house she now shares with her husband, Travis Barker.
However, instead of filming in the home where she currently lives, she chooses to film in the empty house. This makes it clear that the scene was set up just for the show rather than being a natural moment from her life.
Later in the episode, Kendall and Kylie take a trip to Las Vegas to promote their liquor brands. This is exactly the type of content viewers have seen before, making the show feel predictable. Since the family has been focusing on business for so many seasons, these scenes no longer feel fresh or exciting. Instead, they seem repetitive and overly staged.
Because so many of the episodes revolve around business events, the show has started to feel less like a reality series and more like a promotional tool for the family’s brands.
Viewers who enjoyed Keeping Up With the Kardashians for its unfiltered look at the family may find the new format less appealing. Most of the episode feels carefully controlled, making it harder for fans to connect with the sisters on a personal level.
The Show Needs More Authentic Moments
Despite the flashy events and glamorous locations, Season 6 of The Kardashians feels less entertaining than before. While the sisters continue to promote their businesses, their scenes lack the natural and spontaneous energy that made them famous in the first place.
North West is the exception. Her moments feel real, funny, and engaging, bringing back some of the fun that older seasons of the show had. Her confidence and playful personality add a fresh dynamic that the show desperately needs.
If the series wants to stay interesting, it may need to focus more on real, unplanned moments rather than overly polished business promotions.
While fans admire the Kardashian-Jenner family for their success, they also want to see their genuine personalities and interactions. If the show continues to feel too staged, it risks losing the charm that made it popular in the first place.
