Nakai gave white day chocolates to Chii, and as Takagi predicted, she got her chocolates. When Chii told this to Nakai he explained that she probably knew because it was white day and everyone exchanged chocolates. Chii told him that Nishikata also gave her chocolates, and then she realized that she also gave chocolates to Nakai on Valentine’s Day.
Chii figured out that they are just exchanging candies, but Nakai told her it was not just that he wanted to tell her more, but he stopped himself. When Chii insisted on telling her more, he told her she was too young for all these talks. Nakai promised her one day he would explain it to her but now was not the right time for that.
