Waguri san, A girl who always gives it her all, be it her studies or her part-time job. This habit of hers puts a lot of pressure on her but she shrugs it off. Waguri is talking to Rintaro on a phone call when Rintaro realizes that she’s really tired and that she should sleep now. Waguri says that hearing Rintaro’s voice makes her feel better and so she wants to talk to him for a bit longer.
Rintaro can’t refuse such a request and so he agrees. He can’t help but worry about Waguri and her working habits, he realizes that she must be going overboard with it. Rintaro asks Waguri about her job and she tells him that she works in a family-owned restaurant. She also says that she gets free food because of her work too.
The next day, Rintaro goes on a bouldering trip with his friends. They all get really happy as it’s been a long time since they last met and also the fact that schools are opening soon. One of Rintaro’s friends thanks him for making a cake for his sister Mio and says that she really liked it. They all board a train and get off at Erika station. Rintaro remembers that this is Waguri’s train stop and also that she might be working today.
Rintaro’s friends get tired really quickly and he’s the only one left standing. All of them decide to go eat some food and then continue their trip. Rintaro suddenly hears a familiar voice and sees Waguri at a food shop nearby. Waguri gets flustered seeing Rintaro as she believes that she doesn’t look good because of all the work she’s doing at the time. Rintaro and his friends rush towards the Food shop and are greeted by Waguri. Everyone finds out that she actually works at this place.
Waguri tells the shop owner about Rintaro and she recalls the time when Waguri told her that she loves Rintaro. The shop owner makes sure to take great care of all of her friends.
