In a certain town, two high schools sit right next to each other. One is Chidori High School, known for being a rowdy place where the so-called “idiots” gather. It’s a low-ranked boys’ school, filled with students who often don’t take their studies seriously.
Right next to it is Kikyo Girls’ School, a prestigious and refined school for young ladies. It’s famous for its proper and well-behaved students, and it stands in sharp contrast to the chaos of Chidori.
Rintaro Tsumugi is a second-year student at Chidori High. He has a tough and intimidating appearance, but he’s quite reserved and doesn’t talk much.
One day, while he’s helping out at his parents’ cake shop, he meets Kaoruko Waguri. Kaoruko is a student from Kikyo Girls’ School, and she visits the shop as a customer.

Plot
