‘Kaminaki Sekai No Kamisama Katsudou’ is a Japanese anime directed by Yuki Inaba, which is based on the Japanese manga series written by Aoi Akashiro and illustrated by Sonsho Hangetsuban.
On April 6, 2023, the show started to be released on various streaming services. The protagonist of the story is Yukito, a fake cult leader’s son. He didn’t enjoy it because youngsters his age would always make fun of him for it. He was born the heir to the cult by fate. Thus, he was powerless to change it.
His life was centered around the mysterious goddess, who was a self-claimed omniscient and omnipotent god. One day when the cult was performing their rituals as usual, something went wrong, and Yukito died.
Then he is reborn as a person who lived in a village where there was no concept of god or religion. And those who lived there were labeled as abnormal, which meant they were afraid of dying and would eventually be put to death by a lifetime system.
In this world, life and death are decided by the imperial state. Yukito fights for his new village when Mitama, the goddess from his past life, lends a hand. She was summoned into that world as a response to Yukito’s request.
Even while he disliked being the heir to a cult, he likewise was aware of the greatest strategies and techniques for gaining adherents. He now uses his abilities in this new world to try to introduce the idea of God and religion while also rescuing its people from the empire.

Urabe Soichiro was the father of Yukito and the founder of the new cult Shinchi Sukyo. Yukito was ridiculed for being the son of the head of a bogus cult. Although he disliked the cult and idea, he knew very well the tactics and knowledge of how to increase the followers and use various methods to overcome the predicament.
Akari Kito is portrayed as Mitama, the mysterious goddess, a self-proclaimed “omniscient and omnipotent” god who was worshiped by the cult, and Junya Enkoy as Yukito Urabe, who gets killed during the mishandled ritual.
