As the battle unfolds, Shiba realizes the extent of Soya’s strength, acknowledging him as perhaps the most formidable member of the Sazanami elite guard. However, his concerns are not limited to the aerial confrontation.
Shiba worries about Chihiro Rokuhira, who is left to face three Tou members and Kyora Sazanami, the patriarch of the Sazanami family, alone at the Sazanami mansion.
Shiba considers the daunting task facing Chihiro, even with the aid of an Enchanted Blade. He contemplates the possibility of teleporting to Chihiro’s location, bringing Soya along to even the odds in a five-versus-two battle.
The perspective then shifts to Chihiro, who utilizes the Nishiki cloak to conceal himself as he confronts his adversaries. Chihiro is taken aback when one of the Tou members requests blades from their father, Kyora Sazanami.
To Chihiro’s surprise, swords materialize in the Tou member’s hands, leading him to speculate on a potential connection to the Rakuzaichi vault.
Meanwhile, Kyora Sazanami, having realized that one intruder has fled, praises Shiba’s teleportation magic and equips his children with additional swords to bolster their arsenal.
As Chapter 25 unfolds, tensions rise and battle lines are drawn, setting the stage for a gripping continuation of the Kagurabachi saga.
Intrigue and Redemption in Kagurabachi Chapter 25
In Kagurabachi Chapter 25, Shiba swiftly returns to Chihiro’s side, bringing Soya along with him. Hakuri’s elder brother finds himself disoriented by the sudden change in location. Nevertheless, he excitedly informs his father, Kyora, of Hakuri’s whereabouts.
Soya’s revelation clears any doubts Kyora Sazanami harbored. Realizing that his son, Hakuri, has once again betrayed the family, Kyora unleashes his sorcery magic to summon Hakuri from thin air.
It is revealed that Kyora Sazanami possesses the ability to retrieve any item registered to the spatial vault, including his own children.
According to Chapter 25, every member of the Sazanami clan is registered to the spatial vault from infancy as part of a ritual, granting the clan head (currently Kyora Sazanami) the power to safeguard his children from external threats when necessary. Interestingly, Hakuri himself was unaware of this key detail.
With a mocking tone, Kyora questions Chihiro and Shiba about whether his son, Hakuri, served as their informant. Chihiro is repulsed by Kyora’s use of his own son as leverage, while Shiba, ever the pragmatist, recognizes the possibility that Kyora may demand the seventh Enchanted Blade in exchange for Hakuri’s release.
However, Shiba hesitates, recognizing the immense risk of surrendering such a valuable item to their enemies. He attempts to bluff by asserting that Kyora can do as he pleases with his son. Chihiro, however, disagrees with Shiba’s approach.
Amidst these tense exchanges, the chapter also offers peeks of Enten, who remains a silent observer in the unfolding events, adding further intrigue to the already complex situation.
In a poignant moment of recollection, Chihiro remembers how Hakuri once saved his life by shielding him from an attack by Hiyuki. Fueled by gratitude and a desire to save his friend, Chihiro opts for negotiation.
Kagurabachi Chapter 25 unfolds to reveal that Chihiro has made a difficult decision: he has traded his cherished Enten blade to Kyora Sazanami in exchange for Hakuri’s life.
The scene transitions to the Rakuzaichi vault, where Kyora Sazanami exults from acquiring the coveted seventh Enchanted Blade. He anticipates that the upcoming auction will mark a milestone in Sazanami’s history.
Subsequently, the narrative shifts to Chihiro’s base, where he returns alongside Shiba and Hakuri. Overwhelmed with emotion, the banished sorcerer breaks down and offers his apologies to Chihiro for the sacrifice of his blade. Similarly, Shiba expresses remorse for involving Soya in the events at the mansion.
However, Chihiro reassures them both, asserting that no one is to blame. Instead, he expresses relief that his plan has unfolded as intended. As Kagurabachi Chapter 25 draws to a close, it is revealed that Chihiro intentionally relinquished the Enten blade to Kyora Sazanami, setting the stage for further intrigue and development in the ongoing saga.
