Kage No Jitsuryokusha Ni Naritakute Chapter 54, Recap

In the previous chapter, that is Chapter 54 of Kage No Jitsuryokusha Ni Naritakute, as Nishino Akane is unconscious on the floor, the girl holding the syringe blames it all on Akane. Suddenly a noise startles them, and she is shocked to find Minoru to be alive and standing before her.

Minoru confronts her and tells her that he knows that she is confused as to why he and how he is alive and standing before her. After thinking a lot, he concludes that he was put through all of this so that he can be silenced and that Yuuka Sensei is the one who killed Gori Saejima.

Yuuka tells him that she and Gori are both spies, but she killed him off even though he was her accomplice because he had already fulfilled his purpose. And now, she wants to kill Akane because she has killed many people, and she is there to exact her revenge using Akane.

Akane was the Genesis knight and the first of her kind after years of research by her husband in a place called Arcadia where she and her husband lived. The other researchers forced Akane to have more powers which Akane had consented to, but the husband strongly refused as it can’t be predicted how much control she would have over her powers.

Yuuka finds her husband dead. Just then, as she is about to use the mix of blood she has prepared, Akakne awakens and kills Yuuka, and that is Yuuka’s revenge. Akana, traumatized by what she has done, unleashes her powers only to awaken and be chained using the black shackles to meet her end. The chapter ends with Beta finding Akane.
