Singing sensation Miley Cyrus has tested positive for COVID-19. The Malibu hitmaker took to social media to confirm the need while penning down a short note that stated that while travelling around the world, and playing for 100,000 people a night & meeting hundreds of fans, it seems like the chances of getting Covid are pretty high.
The songstress concluded the note by saying that she has Covid now but it was worth it. Miley Cyrus recently toured all across Colombia, Chile, Brazil and Argentina while entertaining fans with her hits including Wrecking Ball” and “Party in the U.S.A along with her other hit tracks from her latest album, Plastic Hearts. While the tour was a huge success, the singer believes that her recent health scare was worth the risk!

However, the singer also. announced that given her recent diagnosis, she will no longer perform at the Janie’s Fund Grammys watch party. The performance was for a novel cause as it aimed to help and take care of abused and neglected girls. Cyrus too expressed her sadness while she explained how it was a charity that was super important to her and her friend Steven Tyler. Here’s the note that Miley Cyrus posted on her Twitter account.

She further gave an update about her health to her fans stating that she is feeling fine while also apologising to her good friend Steven. Steven! However, she further assured her good friend that they will have to ‘Walk This Way’ some another time. It is indeed unfortunate that the songstress had to cancel due to a health scare. However, Miley Cyrus will surely make it up!
The Malibu hitmaker has been a staunch supporter of getting vaccinated while being open about getting vaccinated. After Super Bowl in 2021, she penned a letter issued to fans where she wrote that Each of them can help stop the pandemic by being vaccinated and they need to make the experience of live music a reality again.
