What To Expect From Jupiter’s Legacy?
The official synopsis for Jupiter’s Legacy tells about the world’s first superheroes who gain their powers in 1930. But as time passed by, they have grown older, and now it’s time to pass the torch to their children. But they struggle to live up to their legacy. The heroes are elder guards now and there are tensions between them and a new generation who doesn’t go by the same rules. Last year, Mark Miller confirmed the show will be taking cues from the comics of editions Jupiter’s Legacy 1 and 2 plus Jupiter’s Circle 1 and 2.
Furthermore, the official trailer of Jupiter’s Legacy tells us more about the story we are seeing here. We see the new generation of rebellious kids not fitting with their superhero parents. The first heroes believe they established a legacy the kids should be proud of and spent life protecting it. But they don’t acknowledge it and are not even closely ready to be the next superheroes’ in turn. The kids believe no one stands for the ideals and not even the parents, which they say they do.
