Jung Jinyoung is reportedly in discussions to star alongside TWICE’s Dahyun in the Korean adaptation of the beloved Taiwanese romance film “You Are the Apple of My Eye.” The news, initially reported by Xportsnews on May 13, revealed that Jinyoung and Dahyun are being considered for lead roles in the adaptation.
A representative from Jinyoung’s side confirmed on May 14 that he has received an offer for a role in the project and is positively reviewing it. If he accepts, this would mark his return to the big screen after a five-year hiatus since his last film, “The Dude in Me,” in 2019.
The Taiwanese film “You Are the Apple of My Eye” follows the story of high school troublemaker Ko Ching Teng and model student Shen Chia Yi, spanning from their school years to 15 years later.
