As her children grow up, Julia Roberts is taking a moment to remember them. To commemorate their 19th birthday, the renowned actress, 56, shared a sentimental black-and-white picture of her twins, Phinnaeus Walter and Hazel Patricia, sitting on her lap as newborns.
“There are no words for the joy, the fun, the wild rumpus of life together,” she wrote as a caption for the photo. Alongside her spouse, Danny Moder, Roberts is also a mother to her sixteen-year-old son, Henry Daniel.
Notting Hill star George Clooney acknowledged the common parental fear of making mistakes with their kids in a Today interview with Hoda Kotb last year.
The actress acknowledged, “There are moments when I feel immobilized by the fear of making a mistake.” And sometimes, as a mother, I’ve just said to my kids, ‘Can we just set aside today? Because I made a mistake.”
Julia Roberts posted throwback photos of babies earlier
Though it is rare, this is not the first time the Ticket to Paradise actress has posted a sweet childhood photo of her two children online. Roberts shared a photo of her newborn twins in November 2021.
She is seen in the photo holding Hazel and Phinnaeus, who are both wearing white knit hats and grinning. “17 of the Sweetest years of life,” was the caption
Roberts revealed details about her newfound appreciation for family life and her changed approach to her career during an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning last year.
Roberts thought, “The life we’ve created with our children, the life that I’ve built with my husband.” That is the most significant. The ultimate objective is for them to triumphantly return home at the end of the day.”
Julia Roberts is coming up with a new film, “Leave The World Behind”
The American actress Julia Roberts says that “Leave The World Behind,” her most recent movie, is a sophisticated thriller about a natural disaster that gives her the chance to play a character that is different from her own.
Sam Esmail, the man behind “Mr. Robot,” wrote and directed the film, which has Michelle and former US President Barack Obama serving as executive producers. It is based on Rumaan Alam’s best-selling novel of the same name.
Roberts plays Amanda, who goes on an impromptu vacation in a small Long Island town with her spouse and two kids, in the movie.
When a man and his daughter (Mahershala Ali and Myha’la Herrold) show up at their door, demanding to spend the night and claiming ownership of the posh house, their retreat takes an unexpected turn. They are forced to live under the same roof while attempting to make sense of the chaos outside as tensions between the two families grow more intense and mysterious events take place all around them.
Julia Roberts expresses in her new film
There are a lot of moving parts in each scene; each character has about 17.5 different aspects going on at once. This was disclosed by Julia Roberts on Wednesday during the film’s London premiere.
The famous Hollywood person embraced the complexities of playing the sarcastic advertising director Amanda. She enjoyed the challenge of portraying a character who was inherently wary and a little bit prickly—a far cry from her own personality.
Roberts made an effort to keep her character likable, relatable, and human in spite of this contrast.
Fans of Rumaan Alam’s book were advised by Esmail not to expect a faithful adaptation.
“What works in a literary medium may not translate seamlessly to a cinematic medium,” the speaker clarified. I told Rumaan up front that I would interpret the text however I saw fit. He agreed after we exchanged ideas, and I think we both succeeded in many ways. His book and the movie function separately from one another and are relatively distinct.”
Netflix will begin streaming “Leave The World Behind,” starring Kevin Bacon and Ethan Hawke, on December 8 in addition to being available in select theaters right now.
