The end of the series is near as Yuji and Sukuna have their final battle in the coming pages of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267. It won’t just end in that chapter too; the battle will take place in multiple chapters. And with it, one of the obvious questions will be whether Yuji triumphs over Sukuna in the battle for the future.
Yuji has had many hardships in life ever since he became a sorcerer and took on the job of collecting Sukuna’s fingers. Of course, things didn’t go as planned and almost every person that Yuji came to love, and respect is dead. This runs parallel to what Yuji’s grandfather asked of him in the beginning, to have many people by his side during his death.
Despite everything Yuji had gone through, his spirit torn and broken, he still stood up. He has stood up to the point where Sukuna looks at him like an enemy, he must get rid of. The king of curses doesn’t think of his former much still, but he is wary of his capabilities and treads with care.
We got to see in the latest iteration that Sukuna had to be careful of Yuji during the fight. Yuji has attacks that affect greatly them due to the bond they shared, and the damage they did loosened Sukuna’s hold on Megumi. However, he was able to recover his technique and use the domain expansion to turn things around. And this is where comes the twist, the last finger of Sukuna rings in resonance.
