The previous chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen diverges from the main battle that was taking place in the Shinjuku area and sees Kenjakau on a spree of killing the awakened sorcerers. This chapter continues with this narrative and sees Kenjaku vs Takaba in action after all.
This chapter is unlike anything we have seen before and showcases a lot of text and information that one could say that it is irrelevant as it is highly based on the comedians that are based in Japan.
Gege has done a lot of research into building Takaba’s character for this particular fight, and while all of it might seem very unreliable at this point, we hope to see it become relevant in the long run.
While there isn’t any info on what Yuji is planning to do against Sukuna, there is a new design revealed in the latest issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine as additional information. It is surprising that this detail was revealed in such a way that we won’t be seeing Yuji for at least the next two chapters.
So, with that being said, let us dive into the spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240, alongside a few raw scans for the chapter as well. Here, we bring you the latest updates on the ongoing Jujutsu Kaisen manga series.
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 Spoilers And Raw Scans
As per the spoilers, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 is going to be titled “Baka Survivor, Survive,” and the chapter starts with the sorcerers discussing making a surprise attack on Kenjaku before the conclusion of Gojo and Sukuna’s fight.

Angel shows her worries that what if Kenjaku attacks them after Gojo loses, and Hakari says that it would be the worst-case scenario. Angel adds that even if Kenjaku doesn’t attack them and if they manage to win against Sukuna, dealing with Kenjaku will be tough.
Kusakabe adds that they can catch Kenjaku off guard with Maki, but Mei Mei says that it would not be wise to split their strength before taking care of Sukuna, and thus Angel recommends saying that they should send Takaba instead.
While everyone disapproves of what Angel is recommending, Angel has a pretty good reason for it, and it has to be regarding Takaba’s cursed technique, but the explanation is not completed, and the scene switches to Kenjaku vs Takaba.
Kenjaku Vs Takaba
Kenjaku uses Geto’s cursed technique and attacks Takaba using the cursed manipulation of centipedes, but Takaba isn’t affected by the attack at all. Takaba makes Kenjaku wear the American flag and sunglasses and tells him in English that “You can’t win against me”.

Kenjaku wonders if Takaba’s CT is creating phenomenons where he forcefully materializes his imagination. He notes that his thousand years of knowledge won’t work against Takaba but also remarks that there is a hole in every cursed technique.
Following this, the next two pages see Takaba ranting about how he won first place in a tournament that decides the No.1 Solo Comedian in Japan. After this explanation, Takaba mentions that Kenajaku’s face says that he wants to be laughed and thus, he attempts to make Kenajaku laugh.
Following this, the two pages again see Kenjaku talking about the particular “Wi-Fi” joke that Takaba made to make him laugh but couldn’t. Thus, Kenjaku goes off to attack Takaba again, and this time, his attack works. Kenjaku remarks that the condition for his cursed technique is related to the user’s confidence & certainty.
Takaba is enraged at Kenjaku for not finding the joke funny and says that they could make each other laugh and proceeds to make a funny face. Kenjaku, in response, makes a funny face himself, making Takab laugh instead, and thus Kenjaku lands an attack again.

Takaba starts to worry and lose his cool, mentioning that Kenjaku might be funnier than him, but tries to gather confidence that he is funny too; however, his confidence depletes even further after seeing Hazenoki’s body. Kenjaku stares menacingly at Takaba and tells him to laugh, but the latter is losing confidence and notes this situation isn’t laughable at all and wonders why he is a comedian.
With this, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 comes to an end, and luckily, there isn’t a break next week.
