Nintendo Switch 2 owners will soon be able to experience the brutal world of Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, as the roguelike action game has been confirmed for the console through a newly spotted Nintendo eShop listing. The announcement brings the Norse mythology-inspired survivor title to Nintendo’s latest platform after its successful PC launch in 2025.
The Switch 2 version was revealed via the official eShop. Developed by Games Farm and published by Grindstone, the game received positive reviews on PC for combining fast-paced horde combat with roguelike progression and mythological themes.
Fight through Norse mythology with powerful divine abilities
In Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, players battle through five dangerous realms as a fallen warrior attempting to overcome the trials of the Norse gods. During each run, players unlock powerful blessings from deities including Thor, Freya, and Odin, allowing them to build increasingly powerful character combinations while surviving massive enemy hordes.
The upcoming console release also includes several major additions. Players can take control of the new Kin-Slayer hero, explore Helheim, a new underworld region featuring puzzles and a structured progression path, and unlock Endless Mode, where survival becomes the ultimate challenge against relentless waves of enemies.

Another notable addition is Nidhogg, the legendary dragon that joins players in battle and helps eliminate large groups of enemies with devastating attacks.
With roguelike progression, multiple heroes, subclasses, divine upgrades, and large-scale combat, Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel aims to deliver a replayable action experience for Nintendo Switch 2 players. While an official release date has yet to be announced, the appearance of the game on the Nintendo eShop suggests more details could arrive soon.
