How Arthur Turn Into Joker?
Soon Arthur finds a secret letter in his mother’s things, in which he finds out that he is the illegitimate son of Thomas Wayne. Knowing this major news, Arthur gets infuriated at his mother for not telling him the truth and then visits the Wayne Manor to meet Thomas. But he fails to meet with Thomas but meets a young Bruce. Eventually, he meets Thomas at a private movie screening, where he asks about the truth. Thomas reveals Penny adopted him and raised Arthur along with her abusive boyfriend. Later, she also went to a mental asylum because of her psychotic behavior.
After knowing the truth, Arthur was distraught and thus, goes to meet Sophie. But seeing Arthur at her doorstep shocks her. Then it was revealed that her interaction with Artur was all his delusions. Later, Arthur visits his mother, Penny, in the hospital, and then he suffocates her with the pillow till death. Then he returns home and gets ready to attend Murray’s show, as his standup show, where he bursts into laughter, goes viral. Before leaving his house, his former colleagues, Randall and Gary, visit him. However, Arthur kills Randall because he got him into the mess and only spares Gary’s life because he was kind to him.
While leaving the house, the investigators were chasing him for the three murders, but he blends in with the protesting crowd who dressed as clowns. Arthur asks Murray to introduce him as Joker because Murray himself mockingly called him Joker in one of his episodes. Later, Arthur tells some ghastly jokes which displease the crowd and then berates Murray for making fun of him on his show. Arthur then reveals him being behind the three murders and also talks about his frustration, how this society looks down on the poor or mentally ill people. What Happens In The Joker Ending?
After killing Moody on Air, Arthur was arrested by the police. After this event, the rioters go violent, and one of such rioters murders Thomas Wayne and his wife, Martha Wayne, and only leaves Bruce Wayne alive. Meanwhile, while police were taking Arthur, an ambulance driven by the rioters crashed into the police vehicle. The rioters free Arthur, and then he gets out of the car and makes a smile on his face with blood while dancing to the cheers of the rioters.
Later, Arthur was at Arkham Assylum, where he was attending a session with his psychiatrist. But he laughs alone at a joke which he suddenly remembers. Then he escapes the therapy session while leaving a blood trail behind him; there are chances he killed the psychiatrist.
