Production Team and Staff
David Production is animating the series, with Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahashi co-directing alongside Toshiyuki Kato as series director. Story Overview
Riders from around the world converge in the Wild West for the ultimate race. Johnny Joestar, a former jockey paralysed from the waist down, witnesses Gyro Zeppeli in a duel and temporarily regains his ability to walk. Determined to understand his new power, Johnny joins the most epic race across the American frontier, encountering rival racers, dangerous stands, and unpredictable adventures.
The manga originally launched in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2004, moved to Ultra Jump in 2005, and concluded in 2011 with 24 volumes (volumes 81–104 of the overall JoJo series).
Previous Anime Adaptations
David Production’s adaptation has covered Parts 1 through 6 of the JoJo franchise, with Stone Ocean airing globally on Netflix. Part 1 of Stone Ocean premiered in December 2021, followed by the second and third parts in September and December 2022, respectively.
