The Story So Far
It is a good thing that Jaekyung has decided to focus on his matches, as this gives Kim Dan ample to work extra time. And while Kim won’t tell the MMA fighter about this in Jinx Chapter 44, the MMA fighter might have already noticed. Kim Dan had gotten injured when he was pondering over the event he had come across.
When the romance lead was delivering food, he came across an unexpected face, a figure that could have guided him. This figure was none other than the man whom Jaekyung used to have around before Dan came aboard. Kim Dan was the replacement for that guy, who has now turned into a two-dimensional villain or something close.
The two bottoms, one former and the other current, looked at each other for a moment until the former one broke the silence. He asked how Kim Dan has been fairing with Jaekyung and was annoyed by Dan’s passivity. He tried to guilt trip him by saying how Jaekyung treats everyone and that he won’t be any different tossed aside.
This was when we got the scene of Kim Dan walking home by himself and pondering his relationship with Jaekyung. He thought there was some truth to those words, as Jaekyung had a carnal urge to treat him like a toy. And during this pondering, he failed to notice the creak in front of him and fell to his knees.
What To Expect?
Jinx Chapter 44 will show how Kim will deal with the newly developed situation caused by him. It all began when Jaekyun got to the gym with Kim Dan as usual, but there was a surprise waiting for him. Every member of the Black Gym had gathered to celebrate the birthday of the MMA fighter, or so they wished.
The moment Jaekyung saw the crowd in front of him to celebrate his day, he lost his temper. He told everyone to mind their business, do what they must in the gym, and train for future matches. This made everyone in the gym lose their spirits and deflate all the energy that they had, ruining their mood.
As the crowd was about to disperse, Jaekyung got a bonk from one of the coaches, who told him to chill. The mustache coach stated what others had planned, that everyone just wanted to enjoy the day for his sake. As a token of their appreciation, he should accept their offer and let it rest for the day and enjoy the occasion.
Jaekyung never listens to anyone unless it is one of the coaches who is talking to him. This goes to show that despite being the top fighter, he still has respect for those above him, but he shouldn’t have. In this event, he accidentally drank alcohol, and we first time got to learn that his alcohol tolerance is below average.
