Jiangshi X manga starts with a story between two fish. When the balance of 1000 years is broken, the Yin fish will swallow the Yang fish and pure darkness will engulf the world and only a single point of light will remain. Deep within the mountains where all manner of ferocious beasts appear ranging from giant boars, tigers, serpents, and more while the worst of all is the Jiangshi.
Meanwhile, in the training grounds, a Jiang Shi attacks the monks as Xiaohu tells his fellow monks to be careful as the Jiangshi can easily kill them. Xiaohu managed to lure the Jiangshi into the Linmin Vine trap and while this happens, Xiaohu realized that Chao Yin was not following the plan.
Even though everything seems to be going well and Chao Yin was already celebrating their apparent victory. Xiaohu told them not to let their guard down. As this continues we got to know about the “Daoshi” those who are responsible for defeating the Jiangshi. With the Jiangshi now trapped, Xiaohu then used the Shen Toong Fu Amulet to deal the finishing blow.
Jiangshi X Chapter 1 Recap
The first chapter of Jiangshi X was just released and with it, we got to know about the new world of the Jiangshi and the Daoshi. With Xiaohu now fighting the very first Jiangshi to appear in the manga so far, he managed to have his team trap it so they can defeat it. So he attacked with a combination of moves and ended up with a Yin seal. But as Chaoyun saw this, she was complaining that Xiaohu stole that Jiangshi from her and that it was her catch.
She wanted to settle it with Xiaohu but he decided to ignore her because he knows that she likes attention and trouble too much. With the Jiangshi now dealt with, it was about time to round everyone up and we got to see other Daosi like Leibo make an appearance. After this, it meant that everyone has successfully completed their training. So most of them were Daoshi in training with the goal of becoming fully fledged Daoshi.
Meanwhile, in Shenxian Village, the monks continue with their training and three of them have finally got a test for the following day. Everyone seems to have high hopes for them with all eyes looking forward to Xiaohu as he is also the Daoshi master monk’s son. He seems to be so popular to the point where every Daoshi in Shenxian village wants to know how his test will go.
