Ahead of Jennifer Lopez’s ninth album release on Feb. 16, the superstar, 54, is enjoying married life. A source tells PEOPLE the singer is also relishing her creative freedom. It further says, “It’s been the perfect time to focus on a new album. She’s loved creating new music. She’s very excited about it.”
The source adds, “Ben’s proud of her. He’s her biggest fan. He loves how hard working and focused she is.” The holidays allowed the couple, married in July 2022, quality family time, blending their families seamlessly.
In early January, Lopez released her single “Can’t Get Enough” and its music video, a prelude to her upcoming album This is Me… Now. In a YouTube Live session, she expressed love for the song’s upbeat vibe and its subtle nod to Ben Affleck, 51. “It has an energy, it has a happiness to it, and you feel it all,” she added.
In the creative process of her music video for “Can’t Get Enough,” Lopez sought advice from Ben Affleck. Despite his limited experience in making videos, she values his opinion, stating, “Nobody kind of knows my story or me more than he does.”
During a YouTube livestream, Lopez shared her album’s theme, emphasizing the belief in true love, and inviting fans to witness her journey.
