Isekai de Kojiin wo Hiraita kedo, Naze ka Darehitori Sudatou to Shinai Ken Chapter 49 is the next for the series, and after the defeat of the God of Death Morte, things are about to get happy and relaxed once again in the manga.
Since the last few chapters, Masatsugu has faced off against the definition of death Morte because she believes that he is the hero of Walzam destined to defeat the god of evil Luiqwi.
Masatsugu fought hard, but his true power only got unleashed when he awakened his desire to protect the girls he cared so much about, and this power allowed him to take down Morte once and for all.
Masatsugu’s desire to protect the people also made Morte realize that she was wrong, and so she disappeared without any regret. Now that the great calamity is defeated, it’s time for some celebration, which is what is going to happen in Isekai de Kojiin wo Hiraita kedo, Naze ka Darehitori Sudatou to Shinai Ken Chapter 49!

The chapter opens up with Morte descending on the mortal plane after she gets her seal undone by the king of evil. Masatsugu and his team stand in front of Morte, and they get shocked by seeing the menacing and huge form she has taken. Masatsugu states that she looks even more awful now, and she apologizes for not being modest.
Morte states that until now, she had reinforced her aspect of life, but what they see now is indeed her true form which is meant to crush any fragile human that comes in front of her. Morte attacks Masatsugu’s group with her scyther, but they somehow dodge the attack.
Erin and Lucia try to fight back by using their strongest techniques, but they notice that they can’t even make a scratch on Morte. Morte blows a strong gust of wind toward Erin and Lucia, but Masatsugu uses his power to protect and block it. Morte commends Masatsugu for blocking her attack, but she also says that he can’t do much if he will just block her attacks.
Masatsugu replies that he will defeat her once the stench of death clears out. He soon realizes that the scent is coming from Morte herself, and so it won’t go away until she’s defeated, which is difficult as he can only do one thing at once.
Suddenly the holy knight arrives at the place and attacks Masatsugu. Morte gets shocked to see that the knight was able to cross her barrier, and Masatsugu also picks up on this.
Masatsugu defeats the knight, takes his holy sword Flamglam and decides to fight back. The Knight tries to take back his sword, but Masatsugu explains the entire situation to him and asks him to lend the sword.
The knight still refuses, and so Masatsugu takes it by force. He ties up the knight to use him as a human shield due to his Absurd magic resistance.
Masatsugu then asks all the girls to gather around him to use their one ultimate shot. Morte gets shocked to see that the death mist has started to clear out by some mysterious force. She tries to attack Masatsugu, but her hand suddenly falls apart. Masatsugu uses Flamglam to collect tons of magical energy to cast a grand spell.
Masatsugu then uses all of his powers to strike Morte. She tries to block the attack, but the sword goes right through her hand and into her heart. She couldn’t believe how a god of death could be defeated by a mere hero.
Masatsugu tells Morte that she made a terrible mistake when she decided to go after the girls. After all this time, Morte finally realizes that she is wrong about Masatsugu and that he is indeed an orphanage director.
Morte tells Masatsugu that he made her realize what humans are capable of, and so she apologizes for being rude earlier. Morte then looks up at the sky and apologizes to Luiqwi and the girls before disappearing into nothingness.
