Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun is a manga that has been on the air for almost a decade. The story takes place in the Kamome Academy where supernatural occurrences are the norm. Aside from the several hundred students, the Academy is also home to the Seven Wonders.
There are seven supernatural entities called the Seven Wonders that protect against other supernatural entities that wish to harm the students. The powers and abilities of the spirits all depend on their popularity. One could say that the students manifest the type of entity they end up being.
Our Protagonist Hanako was a former student of Kamome Academy and the current leader of the 7 Wonders. He is the strongest among the seven and was appointed to the Academy by god personally.
Hanoko is promised that his past discretions will be pardoned for a job well done. He is the most famous out of the 7 Wonders though the rumors about him state that he is a girl. It is believed that he haunts the 3rd Stall on the 3rd Floor of the old academy building and that he fulfills wishes for a price.
That is how he came to get acquainted with Nene Yashiro. Nene was a first-year at Kamome Academy and she summoned Hanoko to help her get with her current crush. However, the plan backfired, and the only way to reverse her predicament was for her to become Hanako’s human assistant. Since Hanako is in charge of keeping the other sports at Kamome Academy at bay he uses Nene to collect information about the latest rumors and such. Since these spirits are unable to go against their rumors the duo work together to change it.

Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun Manga Recap
Tsukasa (Hanako’s Brother) and a young Nene are stuck inside the Clock Keeper’s boundary. Before this chapter, Nane had time stolen from her causing her to revert to a 6-year-old. At the moment they are looking around to find the Clock Keeper’s Yorishiro so that Nene can destroy it. Yorishiro is the most prized possession of Mystery and the source of their power. Destroying their Yorishiro means they will lose their place as one of the Mysteries. Nene does so by removing the black seal that is placed on the item.
As the duo explores the boundary more they come across an unknown assailant. They are attacked by a mysterious hammer that seems to be moving at ungodly speeds and seems to be able to change its size. However, it was no match for Tsukasa as he dodged them perfectly. The one holding the hammer is revealed to be Mirai, one of the Clock Keerpers, one that rules over the future. She uses the now much smaller hammer to stamp Tsukasa and a now asleep Nene leaving a mark saying “Guilty” on them.
