Boruto is surely an amazing addition to the Naruto franchise that started as soon as Naruto’s story came to an end. This does not drive so much away from Naruto’s story as the protagonist is the son of Naruto, the Seventh Hokage of the hidden Konoha village. However, this isn’t about Boruto becoming Hokage rather, it is his own story that is more complicated than Naruto simply having a goal.
While fans do not care about Boruto’s motive, what they looking forward to in the series is the opening teaser that saw the destruction of the Konoha Village and hinted at the death of the beloved character of the franchise, Naruto.
Since then what fans have been witnessing is the development of this plot and after years of manga being serialized monthly, the series is turning into some drastic changes and fans are worried about the series status. The latest arc in the series was the Code arc which saw a lot of cliffhangers and with it, we saw Boruto and Kawaki replacing places with one another thanks to Eida’s abilities.
After this chapter was released, there were no new chapters being released, and thus, fans were wondering what was up with the manga and where this story leads to. Could this mark the end of the Boruto manga? Well, we have a lot of intel regarding this question which we would like to tell our readers in this post. With that being said, let’s dive into it.
Is Boruto Manga Finished?
Fans wondering if this new generation of Naruto has come to an end can rest easy knowing that this story has not come to an end. In fact, the latest installment in the series is now the most exciting part that the fans have been looking forward to and it is the time-skip arc that sees a lot of amazing sequences taking place.
After Boruto had gone away from the Konoha, the series also took a hiatus for three months and returned this August. Fans may have become confused with the status of the manga under the title “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” which says it is completed thus leading to wonder if the manga has finished.
But the post-time skip arc that has started this Summer is going under a new title called “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex”. Much like the previous title of the series, you can read the new chapters from the series on the Manga Plus platform.
For the time being, all three released chapters are currently free to read on the said platform as well. The summary for this new arc on this platform says that Boruto is now being hunted by the residents of Konoha after their memories have been altered and the former is now deemed as the sole enemy of the village that killed the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki.
Boruto has escaped with Sasuke who is willing to help him on Sarada’s account. So what future is in sight for the titular protagonist after being hunted by his own people?
Previosuly on Boruto: Two Blue Vortex
The latest chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex saw interesting events taking place but Bourto learned a new type of Rasengan just like his father had done when he went on training. It seems like Boruto’s current motives aren’t to do anything with clearing his name and become the Bortuo Uzumaki, the son of the Hokage rather to go after the Ten Tails and stop Cofe for once and all.
Boruto has been preparing for something bigger and his new Rasengan which seems very powerful using the chakra of the planet is unlike what we have seen before in the series. While Kawaki is still intent on killing Boruto and Code, Boruto does not care about all of this.
The upcoming chapter will surely dive deeper into what Boruto’s motives are but first, we will be seeing Kawaki interfering with this matter. The new chapters of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex are being serialized Monthly and thus the new chapter is going to be released very soon on November 20th, 2023. The new chapter will be available to read on the Manga Plus for free on its release.
