Shirone and his group ran into the Wolk monster in the previous chapter. Readers are curious to find out if Althor and others would be able to defeat the monster Infinite Mage Chapter 62.
Shirone accidentally dropped his gold coins, and it caught the attention of the other kids. The kids got excited after seeing the coins and started counting them, and there were five coins in total.
Lumina was quite surprised that Shirone was carrying around that much money. Shirone started panicking, so he told Lumina he was getting sponsored, and that’s where the money came from.
The kids told Shirone he would not have to worry about money for his entire life, but Shirone told them that’s not how it worked. Althor told the kids they were making a big deal over some gold coins, so they apologized to him.
Lumina realized that Althor was sensitive around Shirone. Brett and Martin started to talk about a savage beast who had appeared in the mountains.
Martin told them there were not even many wild animals there. Everyone had heard from their father that it could be a cow bear. Shirone had heard about it from his father as well.
He was not sure why they came that way when they lived in the north. Lumina reminded him it was because of the breeding season, but every time they went hunting, they returned empty-handed.
They could not find anything, so their best guess was that they could be hiding deep in the mountains. Althor suggested to everyone that they should catch it to help the village, and he reminded them they already knew his skills.
He believed that adults did not need to go out when it was just a cow bear. He was looking forward to catching it with his friends.
Martin told Althor he did hunt a red bear all by himself last time. So he was sure that a cow bear was nothing, and Shirone was surprised that Althor had caught a red bear.
Althor reminded everyone that since they were talking about Hunting. He told them they were going to leave for the hunt the next day.
He asked Shirone to come along with them. Everyone was shocked. Althor mentioned that Shirone had always come with them in the past.

Althor told him he would come and help wherever he could. Althor suggested everyone should gather in front of Lumina’s house the next morning.
Everyone was excited to hunt the cow bear with Althor. Shirone was also looking forward to it; even though it was not something he had planned, he was looking forward to it.
The next morning, Lumina came over to get Shirone for the hunt, and they were ready for their hunting session. Althor told Shirone they would leave them behind if they could not keep up with them.
Because he had not done that in a while, Shirone told him not to worry about it. They decided to make a trap for the cow bear after arriving at the location.
Shirone was surprised that they finished setting up the net and trap so quickly. He thought that everyone was quite amazing.
Althor did all the difficult things on his own, and he found out the cowbear had come to the area where they were setting the trap.
They decided to survey the surroundings, and he told everyone if any of them found it. They should not prove it but instead, inform him about it. Shirone thought that Althor was quite a hunting expert. He thought he was very cool.
