The Most Anticipated Science of Supernatural Spirits Presentation has finally come to an end with the most unexpected outcome. Shirone and Neid nearly changed the genre of the entire manhwa but that is still not the main highlight of the presentation.
The main highlight is the fact that Shirone has completed step 1 of his plan which means that he will now make everyone see real spirits. How will Shirone do this? And what will be everyone’s reaction to this act? We’ll see it in Infinite Mage Chapter 57!
Infinite Mage Chapter 56 opens up with Neid announcing the beginning of the “Science of Supernatural Spirits Presentation”. After finishing up with the introduction and greetings, Neid tells everyone about the Main topic of discussion which is Spirits. Maria and Mark watch Neid with curiosity as they wonder what’s about to come.

Neid warns the audience that they will be seeing some scary scenes so they should exercise some caution. The presentation finally begins and a holographic background is revealed. The Grandmaster is impressed by the presentation so far while Neid’s teacher wonders what they are trying to show.
Neid says that they will be showing a story from 250 years ago and seeing the events that happened before the school was built. Neid goes on with the story and says that there was a village that went through war, a war in which not just humans but non-human entities took part.
The audience gets scared as soon as the lights go out because they wonder if something scary will come out of the screen. Eruki enters the stage dressed as a human Possessed by an evil spirit. The intention behind Eruki’s appearance was to scare everyone, but the audience starts laughing instead.
Cerielle also joins in on the fun, but Amy gets rather annoyed by the presentation so far. Neid enters the stage after Eruki and plays out his role as a man separated from the love of his life. Neid’s acting makes Mary tear up but Mark wonders how this presentation turned into a play.
The next person to enter the stage is none other than Shirone, but Shirone’s costume shocks everyone. Shirone appears on the stage in the attire of a female, and even though he looks quite good, the audience is still flabbergasted by seeing one of their seniors cross-dressing.
Amy gets the most affected by Shirone’s attire, and things just get even worse from that point on. As Shirone is acting as Neid’s lover in the play, it is only natural that they would kiss upon reunion. As Shirone and Neid get closer to each other, Amy’s anxiety keeps rising and even Cerielle fails to control her.
Thankfully for Amy, Neid and Shirone are stopped by Eruki before their lips can touch. Eruki The Possessed Human takes Neid away from the stage as a part of the play. Neid then continues the story from where he left off.
Neid shows everyone a book that was discovered 6 months ago in the school during a research program. Neid then tells everyone that his group investigated the book right away, and what they found was disturbing. He further adds that the evil spirits wander the underworld, finding a human to possess until this day.
Suddenly a bell starts ringing which makes everyone scared as this bell only strikes at midnight. Neid explains that midnight is the time when all light disappears, and that’s when the evil spirit comes out. He says that no one in the audience has ever seen a spirit before because spirits only reveal themselves to the people who truly want to see them.
Neid smiles like a maniac and says that he has made everyone curious about the evil spirits through his presentation, which means that everyone in the audience has adjusted to the frequency of the souls. In other words, when the bell strikes midnight now, everyone present in the audience might see a wandering evil spirit if they look around themselves.
The audience gets filled with fear, but Neid doesn’t give any more explanation. He instead announces the end of the presentation. The lights turn on, and the audience erupts in anger. Everyone soon leaves the room, including Amy, who is angrier than usual.
Among all the people, The Headmaster is the only one who leaves with a smile on his face because he knows that Shirone must have something planned out. Meanwhile, Shirone, Eruki, and Neid laugh at everyone’s reaction backstage and then prepare for the next part of their plan. The Next part is to show everyone what a spirit is!
