The chapter starts off with the Principal and another person talking about how Loveless losing an overwhelming amount of stones was part of a plan to act as bait. However, the Principal is disappointed at the fact that his friend did not think of him as having mastery over the art of Go.

The scene then shifts to a scenic and green area, and we see Won Geuk talk about the three people he had just fought against.
