IMMORTALITY Season 2 Episode 3 is going to be the next for the series, and it will continue with the intense battle between Han Fang and Jinshitai. Fang Qingxue and Han Fang managed to steal the seven evil gourds from Molin after a fierce battle, and Han Fang also managed to avenge Hongyi by killing Molin.
Their victory celebration was short-lived, as Molin managed to summon the demon god before finally dying. The Demon God Mahamudra turns out to be a way bigger threat than expected which forces Fang Qingxue to use her maximum mana, causing her to suffer serious damage.
Han Fang and Qingxue manage to escape somehow, but while Qingxue recovers her mana, Han Fang is faced with Jinshitai, who wants to take the gourd away from him at any cost, and he does not care if he has to kill a fellow sect member for it!
IMMORTALITY Season 2 Episode 2: Recap
The Episode opens up with Fang Qingxue stealing the bottle from Molin. Molin gets angry and considers this as an act of bullying, and he realizes that he has no chance of winning, so he kills himself to offer a blood sacrifice to the Life God in hopes of killing everyone in the cave.
The focus shifts to Old Elder, and he is seen worried about Qingxue. His subordinates tell him that she has moved further inside the desert, but he shouldn’t worry because Han Fang is with her.
The Old Elder says that he isn’t much worried about Qingxue, and then he inquires about the 8 participants in the competition. His subordinate tells him that 6 of the eight have returned to the peak, but the other two are nowhere to be seen.
Meanwhile, Feng Baiyu listens to this conversation using magic. The focus shifts back to Han Fang and Qingxue fighting Molin. Han Fang attacks Molin and tells him that he’ll make him pay for Hongyi’s life. Molin gets angry as Han Fang always keeps getting in his way.
Han Fang also gets furious and cuts Molin’s hand. Molin starts cursing Han Fang, but he doesn’t back off and finishes him off with one clean strike. He tries to stab Molin at last, but Qingxue stops him.
Han Fang starts shaking as he finally avenges Hongyi, but Molin suddenly utters some words which summon the demon god. Suddenly the avatar of the demon god appears before Han Fang and Qingxue. Han Fang barely manages to withstand the pressure from the Demon God, but with some help, he stands back on his feet.
Han Fang wonders how strong Fang Qingxue is because he struggled so much standing up to the demon god, but she can conversate with him so easily. Qingxue attacks Demon God using her two dragons technique which amazes Demon God, and he marvels over her level.
The Demon God also fights back, but Qingxue manages to counter him. He slowly starts to overwhelm her, so she decides to put him under a seal and quickly escape the area.
Qingxue takes Han Fang and escapes using a portal, but the demon god states that he will find them. Qingxue and Han Fang return to the desert, and Qingxue collapses due to her mana breaking as an after-effect of the fight with the demon god. Qingxue hands over the gourd to Han Fang and begins her cultivation after asking him to protect her for the time being.
Suddenly Jinshitai appears and asks Han Fang to hand over the gourd to him. Han Fang refuses and asks Jinshitai to go away as he’ll stay until his sister has recovered.
Jinshitai finds this as an insult and attacks Han Fang. Han Fang uses the gourd and the seven evils surrounding him to give him protection. Jinshitai gets even more enraged and attacks Han Fang with full power.
Han Fang asks him how he could try to kill a fellow sect member when this is against the rules, but Jinshitai says that a lowly outsider servant can’t talk about the rules.
Han Fang suddenly gets help from Yan. Yan manifests the Yellow Springs map allowing Han Fang to use the realm of longevity. He then asks Han Fang to use the poisonous insects inside the gourd to attack Jinshitai.
