The last chapter is very chaotic since Deon ends up making a mistake in his delirious state and calls the Emperor for help instead of the Demon King as intended.
The Emperor looked like he was having fun teasing Deon about his blunder and sent a Knight to Deon, while the demon physician appeared at the same time.
No one in the Kingdom knows about Deon’s secret identity as the Commander of Zero Demon Corps other than the Emperor as well as his brother Cruel Hardt.
Seeing Deon with a demon could very well blow his cover, and we will see if Deon is able to safeguard his identity in I’m Not That Kind of Talent Chapter 70.
We also got to see Deon’s other personality when he was fighting the monsters which usually comes out when he is in danger or agitated. As usual, Deon had no idea about what had happened when he came back to his senses. While it is funny to watch it happen, we also know that this personality disorder goes way deeper.
Deon has faced many traumatic situations in life, and it is obvious that he split his personality since he couldn’t handle all that cruelty in a level-headed manner. The Emperor and the Demon King know about this, but they are happy to let it go just to take advantage of Deon and make him do their dirty work.
I’m Not That Kind of Talent is an action fantasy manhwa which has a pretty unique story. The MC is shown to be weak and fragile, who has some kind of multiple personality disorder and phenomenal luck when it comes to avoiding threatening situations. Despite his frail body, Deon becomes known as a famous war hero.
The real twist comes when Deon gets mistaken for Demon Arut, the Commander of Zero Demon Corps, and now has to work for the Demon King and the Emperor.
Today, we will be taking a look at the release date of I’m Not That Kind of Talent Chapter 70, recap what happened last, and where you can read it.
Recap
In the previous chapter of I’m Not That Kind of Talent, we see the Emperor having another one of his psychotic episodes where he almost stabs his wrist with a knife.
It is only because of his talented subordinate who took out of his sword to deflect the knife that the Emperor was not hurt and he asks for the Shaman to be called.
As they are talking, the Emperor’s communication stone begins glowing and the Emperor leaves in a hurry after receiving a message. The message is not revealed yet and next we see Deon fighting against the monsters with severe injuries and his life hanging by a thread.
As we could see, Deon was not in his senses since his other personality had come out. When he is in that state, he doesn’t care about what happens to him and even his injuries don’t seem to hurt him.
Deon was pretty much overwhelmed by the number of monsters but he managed to make them back off with his crazy antics.
However, he collapses soon and calls the Demon King for assistance since he was losing consciousness. It seems like he ended up passing out because he has a dream about Cruel asking him to wake up, and he opens his eyes to see the monsters closing in on him.
He was rescued by the Emperor who came at the last moment and killed the remaining monster. Deon finally realized that he ended up calling the Emperor instead of the Demon King. The Emperor teases Deon for making such a sloppy mistake and tells him that he needs to do a mission for him next in return.
The Emperor goes back after saying that he will send a Knight to assist him back home and leaves some first aid with him. However, the Demon Physicians appears as soon as the Emperor leaves since he is worried, and the Knight sent by the Emperor also appears at the same time, putting him in trouble.
