iKON’s streak of solo releases persists with Song Yunhyeong stepping into the spotlight. On the 20th, Song Yunhyeong is gearing up to reveal his solo album in March. This venture signifies Yunhyeong’s inaugural solo album since his inception as an iKON member in 2015.
Diverging from the norm of single releases, Yunhyeong is diligently crafting a mini-album to offer a diverse array of tracks.
Since last year, iKON members have been fervently embarking on solo ventures. Bobby and Kim Jin-hwan spearheaded this movement with their solo releases in the previous year.
Bobby unveiled both the single “S.i.R” and the mini-album “ROBERT,” while Kim Jin-hwan introduced his mini-album “BLUE MOON” to the delight of fans.
This year, Kim Dong-hyuk emerged as the trailblazer, dropping his inaugural solo act, the full album “NAKSEO,” on the 15th, headlined by the title track “Groovin.” Kim Dong-hyuk, donning the hat of producer, revealed a nine-track album, marking his grand entrance into the realm of solo endeavors.
Hot on the heels of Kim Dong-hyuk’s release, Bobby is gearing up to unveil another solo masterpiece: a full album amalgamating last year’s singles, mini-album tracks, and fresh compositions. The highly anticipated album is slated for release on the 28th.
Amidst the flurry of releases, all eyes are on Song Yunhyeong’s imminent solo debut. Renowned for his captivating vocal prowess showcased since the days of the survival programs “WIN” and “MIX & MATCH,” anticipation mounts regarding the music genre and concept Yunhyeong will unfurl, further enriching iKON’s solo journey.
