I Stole the Heroine’s First Love Chapter 17 will see things start to get better as the female lead is starting to pick up pieces. Ever since the female lead got into the world, she has been harassed by Tatiana. The royal lady spared no effort in making the female lead’s life miserable once she thought she had no more use for her.

Thus begins the revenge of the female lead against Tatiana, the spoiled noble who was never disciplined by her parents. However, given the history of the noble ladies in our world, she isn’t acting out of character or uncharacteristic. It’s just that we don’t talk as much about once nobility that would treat others as trash or playthings.

And Tatiana is just that, a real-life caricature of a noble that has no breaks or has to be held accountable. But, the female lead is from the modern and educated times, the times where the emotion is better than the old ones, comparatively. And given how personal Tatiana made it for the female lead, she has more reason to take down the evil noble.

I Stole the Heroine’s First Love Chapter 16 focused on the corrupt knight who was trying to woe the female lead. Other than the male lead, there hasn’t been any good character in the series so far. And even this knight was only defeated through the court of public opinion, aka others thinking less of him.

But given that the story is not too focused on changing the system that enables the narcissist in the first place, that is to be expected. However, using a forced confession method out of the knight doesn’t leave a good taste. It would have been better if he had been humiliated, for his character was thoroughly tarnished for being morally corrupt.

Anyway, the female lead was done with that case and forgot that the guy ever existed and went shopping in a rundown shape. She was surprised at the sight in front of her as no noble would enter there. But, she took a step in remembering that she isn’t a bonafide noble and that she shouldn’t let those evil thoughts make her judgemental.

I Stole the Heroine’s First Love Chapter 17 will see the female lead making a deal with the perfume shop owner who got robbed by Tatiana. Yes, even though there was no Tatiana in the last chapter, the series couldn’t go without demonizing her for how evil she is. It’s surprising how every one of those noble worlds has the same problems: petty nobles with too much time on their hands looking for drama.

There were wars, betrayals, and bloodshed among nobles and kings in the past, and these stories are very tame in that department. The only problems they have are related to social norms, how they aren’t what they should be, and the bad things they did to the female lead.

It would be nice if we get that one story where the characters see these things happening and decide to fix themselves because they found it wrong.
